David Eugene Rushing Canton, MS David Eugene Rushing, 83, a retired parts coordinator for Vickers, died Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at his home. Visitation is 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm Monday, January 31, 2022 at Wilcox Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2:00 pm in the Wilcox Chapel with Bro. Michael Harper officiating. Interment will be in Lena Cemetery. Wilcox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Rushing, a native of Leake County, served in the United States Navy. He was a Mason. Survivors include: his wife, Virginia Rushing of Canton; a son, David Shane Rushing of Brandon; a daughter, Debbie Rushing Clark of Harvest, AL; a sister, Loretta Ray of Lena; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, dedications made be made to Autism Speaks at autismspeaks.org.
