Imogene Freeny Lena, MS Imogene Freeny, 91, a retired instructor with MS Dept. of Vocational Rehabilitation, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at her home. Services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Randolph Scott and Bro. Randy Jones officiating. Burial is in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Wilcox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Freeny, a native of Leake County, was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church and the Eastern Star for 73 years. Survivors include: a daughter, Bobbie Johnson of Kosciusko; a brother, Frankie Lewis of Lena; a sister, Marie Odom of Morton; 2 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are: Steve Goodman, Hunt Johnson, Charlie Johnson, Mike Freeny, Tye Lewis, Lucas Renfrow. Honorary Pallbearers: Jimmy Withers, Wayne Thompson, Dolan Babb, Danny Wayne Weaver, Buddy Thomas, Danny Thomas, and Edwin Brown.
