Mr. Perkins, a native of Leake County, was preceded in death by a son, Larry Perkins, Jr. Survivors include: a daughter, Kristi Johnson of Carthage; a brother, Dalton Perkins of Yazoo City; a sister, Doris Cupit of Forest; 4 grandchildren, Briant Johnson, Kimberly Johnson, Joshua Perkins, and Abby Gail Perkins.
