Rev. Jerry Duane Jones Carthage, MS Rev. Duane Jones, 55, a minister, died Sunday, January 23, 2022 at his home. Visitation is 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Wilcox Funeral Home and from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Friday, January 28th at Pearl Hill Baptist Church. Services will follow at 11:00 am with Bro. Jason Price officiating. Interment is in Pearl Hill Cemetery. Wilcox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Rev. Jones, a native of Odessa, TX, was the pastor of Pearl Hill Baptist Church. He had served in the United States Army. Survivors include: his wife, Judy Spikes Jones of Carthage; his father, Jerry (Sue) Jones of Carthage; 2 brothers, James Stephen Jones and Bobby Dale Jones, both of Ridgeland; a sister, Sherry Diane Grubbs of Brandon.
