Preston Grover Stewart Carthage, MS Preston Grover Stewart, 77, a farmer, died Saturday, March 5, 2022 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation is 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Wilcox Funeral Home. Services are 2:00 pm Monday, March 7, 2022 at Wiggins Baptist Church with Bro. Tommy Russell and Bro. Tom Brooks officiating. Interment is in Wiggins Cemetery. Wilcox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Stewart was a native of Leake County and a member or Wiggins Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by: 2 sons, Ron and Don Stewart; a grandson, Jeston Stewart. Survivors include: his wife, Judy Stewart of Carthage; sons, Jerald Stewart and Ruston Stewart, both of Carthage; daughters, Connie Gomillion of Bay Saint Louis, Christy Lewis of Lena, Benita Atkinson, Melissa Atkinson, and Melinda Davidson, all of Carthage; a brother, Leon Stewart of Carthage; sisters, Pauline Brooks of Carthage, Margaret Gunn of Lena, and Patsy Ward of Carthage; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
