Robert David Faulkner Carthage, MS Robert David Faulkner, 83, a retired lineman for Central Electric Power Association, died Monday, August 16, 2021 at Andersons Hospital in Meridian. Graveside services are 10:00 am Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Leake Memorial Gardens with Bro. Mark Bowman and Bro. Bobby Roberson officiating. Wilcox Funeral is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Faulkner, a native of Leake County, was a member of West Carthage Baptist Church and a Mason. He served in the United States Army National Guard. Preceding him in death was a sister, Bettye Bea Faulkner. Survivors include: his wife, Dixie Faulkner of Carthage; a son, Danny Faulkner (Boneda) of Carthage; a daughter, Robin Tripp (Leon, Junior) of Carthage; a step-daughter, Stacy Sanders of Philadelphia; 2 brothers, Hiland Faulkner and Hester Faulkner, both of Carthage; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are: Lee Tripp, Bobby Faulkner, Blake Faulkner, Skylar Westmoreland, Jamie Shepard, and Eddie Rutherford.
